Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kato Munechika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Green Pea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Munechika's entrance music is Requiem for a Dream. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munechika throws a looping overhand right but Pea ducks down to avoid it.
Munechika shoots for a takedown but Pea saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Pea throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Munechika.

and Pea counters with a three punch combo that has Munechika backing up. Munechika nods at Pea to acknowledge the strikes.

Munechika shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Munechika was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Munechika will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
