Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Downius Beatius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Galvo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberto Galvo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Roberto Galvo!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beatius changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Galvo tries to avoid it but Beatius manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Galvo to the ground. Galvo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Beatius decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Galvo's guard.

Galvo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Beatius is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Galvo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Beatius's back instead.

Beatius is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Galvo gets his way!
