The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barracks shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Nordin is trying to defend but Barracks finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Nordin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Barracks.
Nordin trying to control but Barracks postures up.
Barracks missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Nordin tries to get to full guard but Barracks has control of the leg.
Nordin wants to control but Barracks is keeping busy.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Khalid Nordin wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Nordin dodges the punch combination from Barracks.
Barracks moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Barracks connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Nordin walks forward, straight into a front kick from Barracks.
Nordin is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barracks drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Nordin is looking to reverse the position.

Nordin wants to control but Barracks postures up.
Barracks working the ground and pound from side control.
Nordin is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Barracks has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Nordin tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Barracks wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nordin keeps working.

Nordin tries to bench press Barracks off him but Barracks keeps the position.
Barracks trying to control the action but Nordin is working from the bottom.
Check out the look on Barracks's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Nordin is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd goes nuts as Barracks knocks Nordin out cold with a massive hammerfist! Barracks Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Hondo Barracks!
