Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butch DeLoria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes comes to the cage accompanied by Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Mike Barnes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Barnes.
Barnes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nice shot by Barnes.
DeLoria throws a hook to the side of Barnes's head but Barnes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
DeLoria fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barnes manages to avoid it.
Barnes looks to land a combination but DeLoria avoids it well.
DeLoria misses with a left hand
and Barnes counters with a lovely straight right hand!
DeLoria misses with a wild body shot.
A punch lands to the side of DeLoria 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Barnes shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
DeLoria is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
DeLoria throws a jab when Barnes was well out of range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Barnes.

Barnes decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Barnes sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed DeLoria's guard.

Barnes lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Barnes in particular looking to stall.
Barnes prevents DeLoria from standing back up.
Barnes is pressing down on DeLoria's thigh, looking to free his foot. DeLoria is holding on for now.
Barnes is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

DeLoria is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Barnes is thwarting DeLoria's attempts to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
DeLoria pushes Barnes off looking to stand but Barnes dives back in and keeps control.
DeLoria tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Barnes drops an elbow to the side of DeLoria's head.

Barnes wants to free his trapped foot but DeLoria is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Barnes moves into full mount! DeLoria won't be happy about that!

BOOM! Barnes connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The referee warns DeLoria that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Barnes looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
DeLoria is still in real trouble! Can Barnes finish him?
Barnes postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked DeLoria badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Barnes around the waist but Barnes pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Barnes is the winner by TKO! Barnes jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Mike Barnes took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
