Whiteman cracks a nice hook into Pox's ribs.

Pox on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Pox gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Whiteman counters with a straight right hand.
Whiteman throws a sloppy head kick and Pox moves out of range easily.
Pox takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Whiteman throws a shot to the body.
Whiteman ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Larry Whiteman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pox avoids the head kick by Whiteman.
Pox with a poor takedown
and Whiteman counters with a two punch combo.

and Whiteman counters with an outside leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elix Pox. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pox takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Pox takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Pox gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Whiteman.

Pox is breathing heavily.
Whiteman lands a nice hook to Pox's body. Pox takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Whiteman cracks Pox with a left hook right on the temple and Pox goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Whiteman lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Pox is OK!
