Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Warrez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukasz Swidix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warrez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Swidix moves away.
Swidix throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Warrez is defended easily by Swidix.
Warrez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Warrez shoots for a double leg takedown but Swidix sprawls well. He's pushed Warrez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Warrez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Warrez wants to clinch.
Swidix looks to land a body kick but Warrez moved away.

and Swidix takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Warrez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Swidix circles away.
Swidix fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Warrez.

Swidix throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Warrez.

Swidix scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Warrez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Swidix - the referee stops the clock and Warrez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Swidix. Warrez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Warrez blocks the body kick.
Warrez will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Swidix moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - Warrez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Swidix counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Swidix lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Warrez circles away quickly and effectively.

Swidix throws a low kick, looking for Warrez's leg but Warrez calmly moves out of range.
Warrez misses with a wild combination.
Swidix scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Warrez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Swidix manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Swidix gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Swidix is looking to stand up but Warrez isn't so interested in that idea.
Warrez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Warrez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Warrez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Warrez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Swidix swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Warrez shoots in but no luck this time.

Warrez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Swidix pinned against the cage. Swidix gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Warrez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Swidix's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Warrez loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Swidix wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Warrez manages to pass to side control.

Lukasz Swidix showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Swidix tries to land a front kick but Warrez steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Warrez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Warrez's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Warrez duly obliges.
Warrez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Swidix defends it nicely.
Swidix throws a right hand that Warrez ducks under and follows up with a left that Warrez also avoids with ease.
Swidix lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Swidix is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lukasz Swidix is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Warrez dives in and grabs Swidix's left leg, looking for a takedown. Swidix pushes down on Warrez's head and hops out.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jason Warrez.
I think Swidix has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
