We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nicolas Acosta!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trickle clinches up with Acosta and pushes him back against the cage.
Acosta trying to stall but Trickle improves his position.
Trickle tries to pull guard but Acosta won't allow it.
Acosta blocks the elbow strike.

Trickle jumps guard.
Acosta has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Trickle is proving hard to escape from.
Acosta trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Acosta scoring with some ground and pound.
Acosta postures up in Trickle's guard and throws a big left but Trickle blocks it.
Trickle has his hands on Acosta's head, controlling the position.
Trickle wants to stand but Acosta is controlling the position.
Acosta forces his way into half guard.
Acosta thows a huge punch but Trickle dodges it nicely.
Trickle pushes Acosta off looking to stand but Acosta dives back in and keeps control.

Acosta looking for a submission but Trickle manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Acosta advances position into side control!
Trickle manages to work his way to half guard, despite Acosta's best efforts.
Acosta is trying to control the action in half guard but Trickle is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Acosta is pressing down on Trickle's thigh, looking to free his foot. Trickle is holding on for now.
Acosta has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Trickle tries to lock up and control but Acosta gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Trickle tries to control Acosta's body but Acosta pushes him off. Trickle squirms to his side and now Acosta has his back!
Acosta wants to control but Trickle is keeping busy.
Trickle tries to break free.
Acosta has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Acosta misses with an elbow to the head.
Trickle turns into Acosta and is now in his guard.
Acosta wants to hit a switch here but Trickle passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Acosta there!
Acosta looks gassed!
Acosta working to try and regain half guard.
Acosta is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Acosta is working to get back to half guard.
Trickle putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Trickle looking to control and managing it successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Acosta is trying desperately to improve position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Trickle jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Acosta manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Acosta is not content to let Trickle control the position.

Trickle looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Trickle trying to control the position but Acosta is working away.
Acosta gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Acosta tries to get to full guard but Trickle has control of the leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Acosta is pressing down on Trickle's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Trickle slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Trickle trying to control but Acosta is working from the bottom.
Acosta wants to stand but Trickle is controlling the position.
Acosta is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Acosta working for a triangle but Trickle defends it easily.
Trickle controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Nicolas Acosta will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!


Acosta fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Acosta has Trickle up against the cage in a clinch.

Trickle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Acosta darts in and clinches Trickle up against the cage.
The is referee keeping an eye on Trickle - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Acosta misses with a knee strike.
Acosta on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Acosta jumps guard.
Trickle distracts Acosta with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Acosta tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Acosta is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Acosta has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Trickle doesn't defend quickly enough and Acosta has managed to lock this one up! Can Trickle escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Acosta on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nicolas Acosta!
