The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen misses with a body shot
and Nguyen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nguyen looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Nguyen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Williams drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Nguyen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Williams misses with a hook from the clinch.
Williams blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Williams trying to control the position but instead, Nguyen has worked for underhooks and has pushed Williams into the cage.
Williams pulls guard.
Williams has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Nguyen doesn't defend quickly enough and Williams has managed to lock this one up! Can Nguyen escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Williams on a fantastic submission victory.
