Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lasi Kukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sephiroth Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sephiroth Cooper!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kukko.
Kukko misses with the combination.

Cooper closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kukko parries the strikes from Cooper easily there. Cooper is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kukko to escape.
Cooper has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Kukko is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Cooper has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Cooper!

Cooper got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kukko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cooper has managed to get both his arms back between Kukko's legs - danger averted.

Cooper slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Kukko's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Horrible takedown by Cooper or perhaps it was just good defense by Kukko which made him look bad.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cooper drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kukko dives on top into guard.

Cooper has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kukko is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cooper.
