Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Youri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Youri has chosen kill em' as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Royce Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Antonio Youri! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie misses with a takedown attempt - Youri sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Youri has a takedown stuffed. Youri instigates a clinch. Youri pulls Gracie into guard.
Youri avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Youri wants to sweep here but Gracie controlling him for the moment. Gracie controlling from the top position. Youri has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Gracie has passed into side control.
Gracie trying to control the position but Youri is working away. Gracie is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Youri's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Youri really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Youri looks gassed! Gracie lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Gracie stands up. Gracie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie shoots in and drives through. Youri sprawls well. Gracie misses with a low kick.
Youri moves out of range of the body kick. Youri closes the distance and clinches. Gracie drops down looking for an ankle pick but Youri pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Royce Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Youri uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gracie.
Youri gets a clinch. Gracie tries for a takedown but Youri manages to get underhooks.
Youri avoiding damage.
Gracie gets a trip takedown into half guard. Gracie is working for a submission of some sort.
Youri trying to control but Gracie postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie is figuring out what he wants to do next. Gracie seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Youri for as long as he can get away with. Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Youri does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gracie drops an elbow to the side of Youri's head. Youri trying to hold on to Gracie's head to control him but Gracie postures up.
Youri is trying to stand back up but Gracie is controlling him
Gracie wants to control but Youri is keeping him busy.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Youri doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown. Youri fights it but they end up in guard. Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Youri is retaining full guard. Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Royce Gracie dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Youri instigates a clinch. Youri misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Gracie.
Gracie tries to break the clinch but Youri is controlling the position. Gracie fails to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Gracie on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Youri lands a nice uppercut. Youri tries a knee to the head but Gracie blocks it.
Gracie looking for a takedown. Gracie tries to pull guard but Youri holds him up against the cage and eventually Gracie drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Royce Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie drops down looking for an ankle pick but Youri pulls his leg out and moves away.
Youri tries to clinch but Gracie moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie misses the shot to the body. Youri closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Gracie is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Youri jumps into guard, dragging Gracie to the mat.
Youri looking to control but Gracie passes into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gracie is keen to just control but Youri is a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Youri is trying to stand.
Youri has a hand on Gracie's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Gracie takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Youri is squirming around, avoiding Gracie's attempts to control the action. Youri is in a horrible position here. Gracie smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Gracie throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Youri has his hands clasped together but Gracie breaks the hold and Youri is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Gracie!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Royce Gracie!
