Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rob Gracia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rob Gracia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Oscar Silva! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Gracia manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Gracia tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gracia misses with a body shot.
Gracia misses with a series of wild punches.
Rob Gracia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gracia darts in trying to clinch and Silva counters with a shoot takedown. Gracia fights it but they end up in guard. Gracia keeping moving, preventing Silva from controlling successfully. Gracia trying to control the position.
Silva wants to control from the top but Gracia keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracia utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gracia looking for a sweep. Not yet Gracia, not yet. Silva is standing up over Gracia. Gracia looks to escape but Silva dives into side control.
Gracia dodges the ground and pound from Silva. Silva goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Gracia rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Silva's guard! Nice work there by Gracia! Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Silva wants to get back to his feet but Gracia is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Gracia passes Silva's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracia seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Gracia tries to pass the half guard into mount. Silva knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Gracia. Silva is trying to stand up here but Gracia is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracia trying to control from half guard but Silva is working away. Gracia thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Silva's head. Silva tries to kick Gracia off in order to stand up. Gracia Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Gracia in side control, throwing shots but Silva defends. A lull in the action here as Gracia stalls from top position. Gracia sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Silva is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracia moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Gracia tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracia has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Silva is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Gracia is controlling him well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gracia is trying to get an arm triangle but Silva is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Gracia dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Silva throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gracia tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Silva is in Gracia's guard. Silva throws a strike but Gracia rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Gracia gets to his feet. Silva looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Silva shoots in but no luck this time. Rob Gracia is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gracia dives in and scores a takedown into Silva's guard. Gracia wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva pushes Gracia off and scrambles back to his feet.
Gracia throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Gracia finishes the takedown easily into guard. Gracia is standing up over Silva. Silva looks to escape but Gracia dives into side control.
Silva is breathing heavily. Gracia tries to score with some ground and pound. Silva controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Gracia decides to stand back up. Gracia steps back and let's Silva get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gracia as he jumps to the side. Rob Gracia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oscar Silva. Silva gets the takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Gracia struggling a bit here. Gracia is trying to buck Silva off. Silva is trying to get an arm triangle but Gracia is defending well. Gracia is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Silva seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Silva connects with a nice short shot to Gracia's temple. Gracia is holding on to half guard well. Silva throws a strike but Gracia avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Rob Gracia overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Silva postures up in Gracia's guard and throws a big left but Gracia blocks it. Gracia is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Silva has his hands clasped together but Gracia extends an breaks Silva's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gracia.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rob Gracia!
