Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Fielding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Bowles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Fielding!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Bowles!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fielding throws a head kick but Bowles moves out of range.
Bowles misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fielding shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bowles as he jumps to the side.

Bowles shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bowles cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fielding is in all sorts of trouble here.
Fielding is trying to stand.

Fielding wants to hold on but Bowles pushes him away.

Fielding is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Bowles has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Fielding's face.

Fielding really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fielding tries to lock up and control but Bowles gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Let's hope that Bowles has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Fielding tries to control the position but Bowles now has his back.
Fielding is really stuck here.

Fielding tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Bowles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fielding. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Still in half guard, Bowles seems content to control.
Bowles's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bowles has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Fielding moves in looking to clinch but Bowles pushes him off.
Bowles lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fielding at a distance.

Bowles clinches up with Fielding and pushes him back against the cage.
Bowles digs a right hand underneath Fielding's ribcage. Fielding let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Bowles will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Fielding up against the cage.
Bowles tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fielding smiles and moves away.

Bowles gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Fielding is looking to break free of the clinch but Bowles has double underhooks.

Bowles manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Fielding chips away with some ground and pound.
Bowles is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Bowles seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Fielding gets to his feet - Bowles follows without any prompting.
Fielding tries for a takedown but Bowles circles away easily

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bowles in particular looking to stall.

Brian Bowles showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fielding manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Fielding can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bowles is looking to escape.
Fielding will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bowles is squirming around, avoiding Fielding's attempts to control the action.

I would just about give that final round to Brian Bowles.
Well Bowles has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
