Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Souka Sudoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mareko Siaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Souka Sudoka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mareko Siaki! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Siaki feints and as Sudoka raises his hands in defense, Siaki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Sudoka will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Sudoka has control of Siaki's left arm, preventing Siaki from doing any damage. Siaki stays in close to Sudoka's body and controls the position. Siaki looking to pass the guard. Siaki postures up.
Siaki wants to control from the top but Sudoka keeps moving.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mareko Siaki wasn't active enough on the ground. Siaki closes the distance but Sudoka moves to the side and Sudoka decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Siaki's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Siaki keeping moving, preventing Sudoka from controlling successfully. Sudoka in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Sudoka looking to sit in guard and control but Siaki gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Sudoka is trying to control the position but Siaki postures up. Sudoka wants to sweep but no luck. Siaki controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Siaki wants to control from the top but Sudoka keeps moving. Sudoka is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Siaki tests Sudoka's chin there with a solid looking shot. Sudoka takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Horrible takedown by Siaki or perhaps it was just good defense by Sudoka which made him look bad. Mareko Siaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sudoka avoids the head kick by Siaki.
Siaki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sudoka but Sudoka pushes him off and we're back to square one. Siaki moves in looking to clinch but Sudoka pushes him off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sudoka shoots for a takedown but Siaki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Siaki doesn't manage to clinch there - Sudoka circles away.
Siaki gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Sudoka struggles to land a body shot inside as Siaki controls his hands.
Siaki is defending well against a takedown attempt. Sudoka can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Souka Sudoka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Siaki pulls guard. Siaki is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sudoka throws a big right hand that misses. Sudoka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Siaki swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Siaki trying to control the position here. Sudoka trying to control but Siaki is working from the bottom. Siaki trying to keep a closed guard but Sudoka is proving a slippery customer.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mareko Siaki was stalling too much, according to the referee. Sudoka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Siaki as he jumps to the side. Sudoka stuffs the takedown. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sudoka avoids a punch combination nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mareko Siaki dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Siaki fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sudoka avoids it really well and circles away. Siaki throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sudoka tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Siaki is in Sudoka's guard. Siaki passes easily into side control. Nice work. Siaki throwing strikes but Sudoka manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Siaki is looking for a sweep. Siaki is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sudoka's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Siaki keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sudoka looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Siaki with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Siaki is looking for a sweep. Sudoka is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Siaki tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Sudoka has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Mareko Siaki has got the better of the ground game so far. Sudoka working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Siaki tries to lock up and control but Sudoka gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Siaki can't escape the position.
Sudoka fails to take his opponent's back. Siaki is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Sudoka tries to control but Siaki wriggling away. Siaki is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Siaki working to try and regain half guard.

Siaki is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sudoka looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Siaki regains half guard. Sudoka wants to advance to full mount but Siaki doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Sudoka trying to control the position from guard on top but Siaki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Siaki keeping full guard, as Sudoka tries to pass. Siaki tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Siaki striking off his back but it's not causing Sudoka any problems. Siaki is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Siaki pulls Sudoka in to control the position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Siaki trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Sudoka preventing the sweep. Sudoka wants to control from the top but Siaki keeps moving.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Mareko Siaki hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Siaki shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sudoka as he jumps to the side. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Siaki fails in his attempt to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mareko Siaki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Sudoka leaves Siaki with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Siaki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sudoka but Sudoka pushes him off and we're back to square one. Siaki stuffs the takedown. Siaki gets the takedown into side control. Siaki wants to take a breather but Sudoka manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Siaki. Siaki thows a big elbow that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Siaki pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sudoka is keeping the position for now. Sudoka keeping moving, preventing Siaki from controlling successfully. Siaki looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sudoka wants to sweep but no luck.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mareko Siaki hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Siaki throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sudoka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Sudoka slaps away a takedown attempt from Siaki, before circling back to the center of the mat. Souka Sudoka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mareko Siaki. Sudoka shoots and misses and Siaki counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Siaki. Sudoka wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Siaki is now in half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Siaki seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sudoka does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Siaki looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Siaki seems to be working for a kimura but Sudoka defends the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sudoka has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Siaki is working away from the top position though. Sudoka looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Siaki seems to be working for a kimura but Sudoka defends the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Siaki wants to pass to mount but Sudoka is defending the position. Siaki thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Sudoka trying to hold on to Siaki's head to control him but Siaki postures up.

And that's the end of the fight! Mareko Siaki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Siaki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
