Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Dreamie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Austin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "Shattered Glass" kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rick Dreamie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rick Dreamie! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Austin! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dreamie fails with the takedown. Rick Dreamie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dreamie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dreamie throws a right hand that Austin ducks under and follows up with a left that Austin also avoids with ease. Dreamie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Austin circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Dreamie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dreamie looks for a takedown but Austin sprawls well. Dreamie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Austin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Austin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Austin lands a big elbow. Austin is landing with some decent strikes but Dreamie is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Dreamie's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Austin in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Dreamie is breathing heavily. Austin working the ground and pound effectively.
Dreamie bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Dreamie wanted to stand there but Austin had control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dreamie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dreamie prevents Austin from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dreamie gets to his feet. Austin looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Austin gets a takedown into half guard. Dreamie is looking to escape. The fighters are battling for position here. Dreamie manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Dreamie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Dreamie lands with some strikes. Dreamie stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Austin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Dreamie pushes Austin off and gets back to his feet.
Dreamie with a lazy takedown attempt and Austin counters with a head kick. That will keep Dreamie thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Austin shoots in for a takedown but Dreamie shows good takedown defense. Dreamie with a lazy takedown attempt so Austin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Dreamie is looking to stand up but Austin isn't so interested in that idea. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dreamie keeping moving, preventing Austin from controlling successfully. Dreamie pushes Austin off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Dreamie shoots in for a takedown but Austin shows good takedown defense. Dreamie shoots and misses and Austin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dreamie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Austin won't allow Dreamie to get back to his feet. Austin wants to control from the top but Dreamie keeps moving. Dreamie is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Dreamie is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Austin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dreamie avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Austin gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dreamie.
Dreamie tries to score a body lock takedown but Austin shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Austin has picked Dreamie up - he's going for a ride! Austin dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Dreamie makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Dreamie fails with the takedown and Austin counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Austin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dreamie keeps working. Dreamie tries to kick Austin off but Austin keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Dreamie has one foot on Austin's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Austin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dreamie is trying to stand.

Austin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Austin won't allow Dreamie to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Austin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Dreamie keeping moving, preventing Austin from controlling successfully. Dreamie wants to stand up but Austin is controlling him.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Austin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Dreamie is trying to get back to his feet. Dreamie sneaks back into half guard. Austin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dreamie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dreamie pushes Austin off looking to stand but Austin dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dreamie manages to escape and get back to his feet! Dreamie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Austin counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dreamie's guard now. Dreamie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Austin stops Dreamie from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Austin dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Dreamie throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Dreamie doesn't succeed with the takedown and Austin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dreamie won't be happy with that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Dreamie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dreamie is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Austin tries to advance to mount but can't. Dreamie is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dreamie gets full guard. Dreamie wants to get back to his feet but Austin is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Dreamie trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Dreamie pushes Austin off and scrambles back to his feet.
Austin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dreamie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Dreamie is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Dreamie is not content to let Austin control the position. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Austin. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Dreamie is trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dreamie regains half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dreamie is not content to let Austin control the position. Dreamie is trying to stand back up but Austin is controlling him
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Austin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Steve Austin has got the better of the ground game so far. Dreamie wants to get back to his feet. Dreamie manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Dreamie decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Dreamie with a lazy takedown attempt and Austin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dreamie won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dreamie sneaks back into half guard. Dreamie wants to get back to his feet. Austin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dreamie knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Dreamie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from Austin. Austin trying to control the pace. Dreamie is refusing to be controlled, as Austin sits in half guard. Austin tries to pass to full mount but Dreamie defends it. Austin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Dreamie is trying to stand back up but Austin is controlling him
Austin scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Dreamie regains full guard. Nicely done. Dreamie pushes Austin off and gets back to his feet.
Rick Dreamie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dreamie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Dreamie shoots in for a double leg but Austin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dreamie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Austin is fending him off so far but Dreamie persists. Nope, Austin circles away and we're back to standing. A head kick misses from Austin. Dreamie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Austin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Dreamie wants to get back to his feet. Austin wants to take a breather but Dreamie is having none of it. Dreamie wants to get back to his feet. Dreamie moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Dreamie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Dreamie working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Austin turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Dreamie off and cradles Austin's limp body as Dreamie celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Rick Dreamie! Rick Dreamie retains his heavyweight title!
