Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Mercer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dixon's choice of entrance music: Ludacris - Get Back . Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Mercer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brian Dixon! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mercer fails to land with a series of punches.
Mercer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bobby Mercer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dixon avoids the body shot from Mercer.
Dixon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mercer moves away. Dixon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mercer swats him away and circles back towards the center. A head kick misses from Mercer. Dixon scores with a body shot.
Dixon avoids the head kick by Mercer.
Dixon sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Mercer looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Dixon ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Dixon punishes Mercer's body with a nice straight punch. Mercer is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dixon tries to clinch up. Mercer throws a leg kick but Dixon checks it. Dixon clinches up against the cage. Mercer is trying to pull guard but Dixon has him pressed against the cage. Dixon lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Mercer has Dixon pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dixon manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. A shot in the inside from Dixon.
It looks like Bobby Mercer has been cut. Mercer is looking to take this one to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Mercer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dixon scores with a shot to the side of Mercer's head. Mercer is trying to pull guard but Dixon turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Dixon lands an uppercut. Dixon tries to circle away but Mercer has him pinned against the cage. Dixon misses with a hook to the ribs.
Mercer is trying to break the clinch but Dixon has him pressed against the cage. Mercer can't break the clinch.
Dixon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jab from Dixon. Dixon cracks Mercer with a hook to the temple - Mercer is on wobbly legs here! Dixon swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Mercer falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Dixon wins by TKO!
