Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Floyd Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Hoist the Colours. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Floyd Fury! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Fury lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Jones clinches up against the cage. Jones has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Fury after a bit of a struggle. Fury tries to break free but Jones pushes him back against the cage. Fury is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jones is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fury to the mat. Fury regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Fury looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fury wants to stand up but Jones is controlling him. Jones is working Fury over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Fury wants to sweep but no luck. Jones stands up over Fury, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones postures up in Fury's guard and throws a big left but Fury blocks it. Fury wants to sweep but no luck. Fury working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fury bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard. Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fury is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fury defends well. Fury trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fury. Jones throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Fury tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fury doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fury manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fury postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it. Fury pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fury's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Fury is proving a slippery customer.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Fury from controlling successfully. Jones wants to sweep here but Fury controlling him for the moment. Fury missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fury trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Fury pushes down on Jones's leg and manages to get into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones wants to get back to full guard. Fury thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Fury lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Nice strikes from Fury there. Jones wants to improve his position but Fury is controlling well.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Fury wants to free his trapped foot but Jones is holding on for dear life with his legs. Fury scoring with strikes to the body and head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fury thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head. Fury missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jones is looking to improve his position.
Fury is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fury seems to be looking for submissions.
Jones is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fury pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Fury is keeping busy. Jones lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Fury backwards. Jones misses with an elbow strike.

David Jones dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Floyd Fury's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Fury swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones. Floyd Fury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones moves out of range of the body kick from Fury.
David Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fury keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Fury ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jones lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Fury has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Fury and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Fury lands with an uppercut that bounces Jones off the cage and back into range. Fury takes one to the side of the head.
Jones drops his hands momentarily and Fury takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Fury shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense. Fury tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Fury throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fury off to one side. Jones slips a jab and a cross from Fury.
Jones is looking to land body kicks. Jones does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Fury fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. David Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Floyd Fury. Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fury throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fury dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Fury's head and hops out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fury cracks Jones with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Jones scores with a one two! Fury had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Fury misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Fury takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fury tries a head kick but it misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fury's corner calls for a 1-2. Fury obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Jones scores with a spinning back kick! Jones closes the distance and clinches. A frustrated look appears on Fury's face as he tries to break the clinch. Jones wants a takedown.
Jones is working for takedown but Fury is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones looks to throw an elbow but misses. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jones just misses with a elbow thrown towards Fury's brow. Fury blocks an elbow strike. Jones misses with an elbow strike.

Jones is pushing Fury up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Fury dodges an elbow strike from Jones.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jones. Jones lands an elbow inside.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Floyd Fury. I think Fury has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
