Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hudson Levine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Bourque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Levine kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Parkway Drive - Carrion. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bourque blocks a low kick nicely.
Levine throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bourque.

and Levine finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Levine shoots for a double leg takedown but Bourque sprawls well. He's pushed Levine's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Levine takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Levine does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bourque is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Levine feints and then cracks Bourque's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bourque down.

Levine goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Levine throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bourque was covering up waiting for the punch and Levine finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bourque pulls Levine in to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bourque is trying to keep Levine in close.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Levine postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

I would just about give that final round to Paul Bourque.
Well Levine has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
