Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juan Marcos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsu Fujii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Marcos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Katsu Fujii! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fujii gets a clinch. With the fighters up against the cage, Fujii throws an elbow but misses. Fujii missing with knees to the body.
Fujii tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Marcos just stands there and leans against the cage. Marcos blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Marcos avoiding damage as Fujii throws knees to the body.

Fujii wants to stand but Marcos is controlling his posture from full guard. Marcos had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fujii defends it easily. Marcos is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fujii is aware though and is defending well. Marcos has a closed guard, preventing Fujii from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fujii sitting in guard here, content to control. Marcos is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Fujii must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Marcos keeping moving, preventing Fujii from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Katsu Fujii was stalling too much, according to the referee. Marcos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fujii delivers a nice body kick. Fujii tries to close the distance and clinch but Marcos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fujii moves in looking to clinch but Marcos pushes him off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fujii closes the distance and pushes Marcos back into the cage. Fujii is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Marcos is defending well. Fujii effectively controlling the action here. Marcos prevents a takedown attempt there.
Juan Marcos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Katsu Fujii. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Marcos is looking to take this one to the mat. Fujii keeps control of Marcos as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Fujii breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fujii gets tackled into the cage by Marcos. Marcos maintains the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fujii stops a takedown attempt from Marcos.

Marcos has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fujii is proving hard to escape from. Fujii is looking to stand up but Marcos isn't so interested in that idea. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Marcos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Fujii moves in looking to clinch but Marcos pushes him off. Marcos clinches up with Fujii and pushes him back against the cage. Marcos is working for takedown but Fujii is calmly controlling the position for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fujii tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Marcos paws at him with a jab and circles away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Marcos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fujii sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Marcos somewhat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Katsu Fujii dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Marcos showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Fujii is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Marcos looking to slow down the pace here.

Marcos is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Fujii is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fujii turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Fujii manages to end up in side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fujii throws an elbow but Marcos slips to the side and avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Katsu Fujii showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Marcos avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Marcos clinches. Fujii content to slow the pace in the clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fujii misses with a knee to the head.

Fujii breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fujii fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Marcos fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fujii avoids it really well and circles away. Marcos shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fujii doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Fujii fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Marcos. Marcos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Fujii. Marcos shrugs it off though. Fujii tries to clinch up. Fujii fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Marcos, pushing him back against the cage. Fujii tries a knee to the head but Marcos blocks it.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Marcos blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Juan Marcos has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Katsu Fujii is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Fujii misses with an elbow strike.
And that's the end of the fight! Katsu Fujii comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fujii has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Katsu Fujii! A very excited looking Katsu Fujii rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
