Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Shane Turnham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Snoofty Douser!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turnham misses with a wild combination.
Turnham's corner calls for a 1-2. Turnham obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Snoofty Douser has been cut.
Turnham swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Turnham has taken the fight to the clinch.
Douser takes an elbow to the forehead.
Douser is trying to break the clinch but Turnham is controlling him.
Douser takes a shot to the head.
Douser working hard to break the clinch.
Turnham escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Turnham drives through and clinches with Douser against the cage.
Douser blocks an uppercut.
Douser goes for a takedown attempt but Turnham pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Douser tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Turnham swivels and escapes.
Shane Turnham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Douser keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Douser scores with a jab.
Turnham tries to score a power double leg takedown but Douser sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Turnham somewhat.
Turnham stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
That has opened up Snoofty Douser's cut even more.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Turnham manages to break the clinch.
Turnham leaves Douser with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Shane Turnham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Snoofty Douser.
Turnham gets a clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Douser has had enough of the clinch but Turnham keeps him there for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Turnham breaks the clinch.
Turnham lands a brutal head kick. Douser looks out on his feet and Turnham throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
