Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steven Chow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belfort comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Vitor Belfort kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven Chow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vitor Belfort! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belfort is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Belfort fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Belfort closes the distance and clinches. Belfort breaks the clinch.
Chow shoots in and drives through. Belfort sprawls well. Belfort throws a leg kick but Chow checks it. Chow has his takedown stuffed and Belfort counters with a nice double leg into side control. Chow won't be happy with that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chow stops Belfort from passing to mount. Belfort wants to stand but Chow has his arm trapped. Chow manages to get back to half guard. Chow looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Belfort tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Chow. Chow is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Belfort is keen to just control but Chow is a slippery customer. Belfort with the ground and pound but Chow uses the opportunity to regain guard. Belfort must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belfort wants to stand and escape but instead Chow has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Belfort is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Chow trying to control but Belfort is working from the bottom. Belfort working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Belfort really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Belfort looks gassed! Belfort wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Chow's hips, looking to push off. But Chow grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Belfort screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
