Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blow Jimmy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson's entrance music is Mission Impossible 2 (Hate Mix) By Limp bizkit. A fine choice. Jimmy has chosen Take a lick as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimmy looking to score a takedown here. Johnson is defending well but Jimmy drives through and ends up in Johnson's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Jimmy prevents Johnson from getting back to his feet.
Johnson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Johnson wants to stand and escape but Jimmy is having none of it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Johnson is breathing heavily.
Jimmy explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Johnson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jimmy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Johnson was covering up waiting for the punch and Jimmy finishes the takedown easily into guard.

It looks like Jimmy might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Jimmy lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Blow Jimmy hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Jimmy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Johnson was well out of range. Poor timing from Jimmy.
Johnson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jimmy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jimmy shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jimmy is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Johnson off and has taken his back!

You can see the frustration on Johnson's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Jimmy is trying to pull guard but Johnson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Kyle Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blow Jimmy.
Jimmy's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Johnson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jimmy manages to get himself to full guard.

Well Jimmy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
