Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Houston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson comes to the cage accompanied by The game. Houston comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Born of a Broken Man kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Austin Houston was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson tries a head kick but it misses.
Houston throws a sloppy head kick
and Thompson counters by clinching up.
Houston lands an elbow just above Thompson 's eye.
It looks like Joe Thompson has been cut.
Thompson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
You can see the frustration on Houston's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Thompson throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Houston works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
