The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bedford moves away from the strike by Kalainawai. Kaimana Kalainawai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A left lands for Bedford. Kalainawai misses with a head kick.

It looks like Bobby Bedford has been cut. Nice defenses there by Bedford. A looping hook to the body misses from Bedford. Kalainawai does a little dance to reset his feet. Bedford throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bedford is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kalainawai.
