The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terteryan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Terteryan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Petkovic counters with a thumping low kick.
Terteryan shoots and misses
and Petkovic makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

and Petkovic counters with a nice leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sarkis Terteryan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Terteryan is breathing heavily.
Terteryan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Petkovic dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Terteryan. That did some damage!
Terteryan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Petkovic, right into the meat.
Sarkis Terteryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good leg kick by Petkovic there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Petkovic scores with a head kick. Terteryan tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Petkovic. Terteryan shrugs it off though.
Nice combo by Petkovic! Oh, that's hurt him - Terteryan falls to the canvas and Petkovic follows him into side control.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Petkovic is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Terteryan's shoulder. That is not cool.
Oh Terteryan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Petkovic lands a strong strike to the head of Terteryan. That's dazed him! Petkovic looking to finish here. Terteryan is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Petkovic lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
