Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaki tries to clinch but Cardy is having none of it.
Cardy looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Cardy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Zaki tries to clinch but Cardy moves out of range.
Dan Cardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zaki fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cardy, pushing him back against the cage.
Zaki stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Cardy stalling in the clinch.
Zaki throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Cardy blocks it with crossed arms.
Zaki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cardy throws a head kick but Zaki moves out of range.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Zaki.
Zaki wants to control but Cardy is keeping him busy.
Zaki thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Zaki has hold of Cardy's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Cardy seems comfortable defending it but Zaki has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Cardy is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Cardy is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Zaki couldn't care less - he's delighted!
