Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Grand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Mt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that James Grand has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily James Grand seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dave Mt!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grand looks for a takedown but Mt sprawls well.
Grand tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mt scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Grand wants to clinch up but Mt keeps it at a distance.
Grand takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like James Grand has been cut.
Mt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Grand wants to clinch up but Mt keeps it at a distance.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mt.
Grand has a takedown stuffed.
Grand takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Grand is breathing heavily.
Mt throws a head kick but Grand moves out of range.
Dave Mt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Mt.
Mt throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Grand.
Mt tries a head kick but it misses.
Mt scores with a head kick.

Mt scores with a head kick. Grand tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Grand could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Grand scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mt looks like he's trying to stand up.
Grand perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mt can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mt wants to get back to his feet.

Mt is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Grand decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Grand dives in and grabs Mt's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mt pushes down on Grand's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Grand. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mt throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Grand's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Grand on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Mt lands a nice looking kick to the body. Grand takes a step back to recover.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mt.

Mt buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Grand takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Mt lands a big head kick that sends Grand tumbling to the mat! Mt takes a step backwards and waves Grand back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Grand is rocked!
Mt closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Grand out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
