Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chris Langham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenta Kobayashi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Langham lands a big head kick that sends Kobayashi tumbling to the mat! Langham takes a step backwards and waves Kobayashi back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kobayashi is rocked!
It looks like Kenta Kobayashi has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Langham fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kobayashi is still on wobbly legs! Can Langham finish him?
Langham clinches.
Langham stalling against the cage.
Kobayashi is trying to drag Langham to the mat but Langham just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Kobayashi is trying to pull guard but Langham has him pressed against the cage.
Langham is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Chris Langham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenta Kobayashi.
Langham jumps guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Langham is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Langham throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kobayashi seems to have recovered his senses.
Kobayashi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Langham swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kobayashi looking to sit in guard and control but Langham gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kobayashi wants to stand up but Langham is controlling him.
Langham in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Kobayashi looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Kobayashi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kobayashi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Langham can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Langham drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Langham jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Langham stops Kobayashi from standing up.
Langham trying to control the position from guard on top but Kobayashi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kobayashi wants to stand but Langham is controlling the position.
Kobayashi pushes Langham off and gets back to his feet.
Chris Langham is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters circle, before Langham throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Kobayashi's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Langham lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
