Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Hughes! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A lazy body kick from Hughes and Odinson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hughes tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Odinson avoids it. Knees to the body from Hughes.

Odinson moves into range and clinches up with Hughes. Hughes tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Hughes throws a knee to the head but misses.

A battle for position here, against the cage. Hughes fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hughes jumps guard but Odinson stands there with Hughes around his waist. Hughes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hughes looks gassed! Hughes is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Odinson is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Odinson being controlled against the cage. Hughes with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Odinson successfully pulls guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Odinson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hughes's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hughes keeping full guard, as Odinson tries to pass. Odinson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Odinson wants to pass the guard but Hughes is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Odinson passes easily into side control. Nice work. Odinson controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hughes gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Odinson controlling the position easily from mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Odinson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Thor Odinson will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hughes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Odinson. Thor Odinson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hughes slaps away a takedown attempt from Odinson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hughes stuffs the takedown attempt from Odinson. Odinson gets slowly back to his feet. That kick from Hughes tenderised Odinson's leg. Odinson is trying to keep his angry face on. Hughes throws a sloppy head kick and Odinson moves out of range easily. Hughes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hughes takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Odinson moves into the clinch successfully.
Hughes is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This has been an exciting period of action! Hughes trying to control the position but instead, Odinson has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hughes into the cage.

Odinson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hughes tries a head kick but it misses.

Hughes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Odinson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Odinson throws a series of punches but Hughes moves out of range. Odinson blocks a head kick by Hughes.
Odinson throws a leg kick that is checked and Hughes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hughes swings widly with a right hand
and Hughes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Odinson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hughes swats away the attempt to clinch by Odinson. A kick lands to the mid section there for Hughes. Hughes scores with a punch to the head. Odinson clinches with his opponent.
Hughes manages to break the clinch.
Odinson misses with a few strikes there.
Hughes blocks the body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hughes misses with a low kick.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hughes looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hughes throws a nice looking combination but Odinson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Odinson, right into the meat.

Ryan Hughes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Odinson feints and then cracks Hughes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hughes down. Hughes takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hughes misses with a body shot.
Hughes gets tackled into the cage by Odinson. Odinson maintains the clinch. Odinson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hughes prevents it.
Hughes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Good leg kick by Hughes there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Thor Odinson is winning the standup battle so far. Hughes throws the kick towards the body but Odinson avoids it. Hughes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Odinson, pushing him back against the cage. Odinson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hughes. Hughes showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Odinson.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Odinson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hughes swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thor Odinson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Odinson throws a nice outside leg kick.
