Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Austin Gabriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabriel comes to the cage accompanied by I Am the Thorn by Cradle of Filth. Lewis has chosen Fight Music as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis missing with a left hand there. Gabriel was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Gabriel avoids the head kick by Lewis.
Lewis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lewis throws a head kick but Gabriel moves out of range.
Lewis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Gabriel misses with a takedown attempt - Lewis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Gabriel shoots for a double leg takedown but Lewis sprawls well. He's pushed Gabriel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lewis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lewis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lewis shoots in looking for a takedown. Gabriel tries to sprawl out of it but Lewis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gabriel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
