Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leo Hades (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russ Hodges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hades kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is yeah baby. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leo Hades! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Russ Hodges! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab from Hades. Hodges looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hades is fending him off so far but Hodges persists. Nope, Hades circles away and we're back to standing. Hodges closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hodges lands in his opponent's guard. Hades wants to stand and escape but Hodges is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hodges lands a couple of elbows. Hodges landing some decent shots from guard. Hodges chips away with some ground and pound. Hodges is in close to Hades's body, working some short punches and elbows. This has been an exciting period of action! Hodges stops Hades from standing up. Hodges cracks Hades with a solid left hand. Hodges is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hades is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hodges is stalling in the full guard. Hades keeping moving, preventing Hodges from controlling successfully. Hodges won't allow Hades to get back to his feet. Hades is breathing heavily. Hodges is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Russ Hodges wasn't active enough on the ground. Hodges displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hades throws out the jab. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hodges. Hodges is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hades sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Leo Hades has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Russ Hodges.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hodges decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hades manages to escape and get back to his feet! Hodges fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hades avoids it really well and circles away. Hades shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hodges seems keen to control Hades's posture. Hades preventing the sweep. Hades wants to stand but Hodges is controlling his posture from full guard. Hades postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hades has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hodges is proving hard to escape from. Hades is looking to work some ground and pound but Hodges has wrist control. Hades in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hodges wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Hodges really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hades. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hades throws a strike but Hodges rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Hodges lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hodges is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hades is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hodges is stalling in the full guard. Hodges working some strikes from top position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hades has momentary wrist control but Hodges slips an elbow through the middle. Hodges working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Russ Hodges dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hodges shoots in and bounces Hades off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Hodges is working Hades over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hodges connects with a couple of short punches. Hodges landing with the ground and pound. Hodges lands a couple of digs. Hades wants to stand up but Hodges is controlling him. Hades is looking to stand back up but Hodges counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Hades. Hades striking from half guard on the bottom. Russ Hodges has got the better of the ground game so far. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hodges in particular looking to stall. Hades scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Hodges manages to mount him!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hodges scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hodges looking to control and managing it successfully. Hodges dominating with strikes here. Hodges lands a big shot there that rocks Hades but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hodges looking to finish Hades with some ground and pound. This is bad for Hades! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hodges controlling the pace for now. Hodges lands a nice shot to the head. Hodges landing strikes from the mount. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hodges pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hades is rocked! Hades is bucking up trying to escape but Hodges cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Oh Hades is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Hodges postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Hades bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Hodges and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Russ Hodges!
