Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel McCraig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and OJ Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simpson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. OJ's Undefeated Record kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel McCraig! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, OJ Simpson! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCraig pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Simpson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Simpson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! McCraig is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! McCraig has escaped and now he's on top! Simpson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McCraig can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Simpson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McCraig gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. McCraig avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Simpson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCraig stops Simpson from standing up. McCraig trying to control but Simpson is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Simpson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McCraig gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Simpson is looking for a triangle but McCraig pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Simpson controls McCraig momentarily but McCraig frees himself. Simpson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
McCraig stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Simpson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Simpson looking to control.
McCraig trying to control but Simpson is working from the bottom. Simpson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McCraig gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Simpson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McCraig can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Simpson looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Simpson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! McCraig escapes and throws Simpson's legs to the side, diving into side control! McCraig wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Simpson, who protects the arm well. Simpson tries to improve position but can't. McCraig is looking to take a break and control but Simpson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McCraig tries to advance to mount but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Simpson is not content to let McCraig control the position. Simpson trying his best to control but McCraig has mounted him. McCraig is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Simpson is surviving well by controlling McCraig's body position as best he can. Simpson gets back to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Simpson is looking to control McCraig's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Simpson avoid being mounted? McCraig wants to lay and pray for a moment but Simpson keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
OJ Simpson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Simpson takes a kick to the side of the head. McCraig throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Simpson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McCraig's guard. Simpson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCraig swivels though and keeps the full guard. McCraig working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Simpson. Simpson trying to control but McCraig is working from the bottom. Simpson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. McCraig keeping moving, preventing Simpson from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. OJ Simpson was stalling too much, according to the referee. McCraig throws a wild body kick that Simpson sees coming a mile off. Simpson shoots in and bounces McCraig off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. McCraig working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Simpson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but McCraig is tightening it up a little... Simpson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Simpson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Simpson taps out! Nice BJJ there by McCraig!
