Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Van Beethoven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Lautrec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Beethoven comes to the cage accompanied by Beethoven-Symphony 7. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wolfgang Van Beethoven ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuel Lautrec! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lautrec thows a left - swing and a miss! Lautrec takes a swing at Van Beethoven 's ribcage but misses. Lautrec drops his hands momentarily and Van Beethoven takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Van Beethoven misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lautrec.
Lautrec lands a nice hook to Van Beethoven 's body. Van Beethoven takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Van Beethoven stuns Lautrec with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lautrec takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Lautrec blocks a jab. Van Beethoven throws an overhand right that lands on Lautrec's shoulder, as Lautrec tries to avoid the shot. Van Beethoven misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lautrec.
Lautrec tries to clinch there but Van Beethoven circles away.
Van Beethoven lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Van Beethoven lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Van Beethoven misses with a straight left. Van Beethoven thuds a left hand into Lautrec's body. Lautrec tries to move into range but Van Beethoven moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van Beethoven feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lautrec sprawling to the canvas! Lautrec rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Van Beethoven finish him?!
Lautrec is rocked!
It looks like Samuel Lautrec has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lautrec is looking to land body kicks. Lautrec misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lautrec stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Van Beethoven . Lautrec looks gassed! A jab lands there for Van Beethoven . Lautrec is still on wobbly legs! Can Van Beethoven finish him? Van Beethoven lands an uppercut, right on the button! Lautrec tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wolfgang Van Beethoven !
