Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen wolf pack as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jackson feints and as Lopez raises his hands in defense, Jackson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jackson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jackson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Lopez on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lopez tries to get out of the position.
Jackson distracts Lopez with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Lopez wants to stand and escape but Jackson is having none of it.

Lopez is pressed up against the cage. Jackson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lopez down to the mat. Lopez avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Jackson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lopez can pounce on him.

Lopez loads up on a big right hand but Jackson slips the punch.
Jackson cracks Lopez with an uppercut from hell and Lopez crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Jackson's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Jackson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Lopez is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
