Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Red Neck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bennett has chosen Riot Maker by Tech N9ne as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Red Neck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charles Bennett !
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bennett misses with an uppercut. Neck saw that one coming.
Neck has a takedown stuffed.
Neck takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Neck throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bennett 's waist but Bennett gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Neck off to one side.
Bennett leaves Neck with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Red Neck. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bennett fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Neck manages to avoid it.
Bennett scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Neck shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bennett but Bennett pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Charles Bennett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bennett closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Neck did well to prevent Bennett getting side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Charles Bennett hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Neck on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Bennett looks to score with a jab to the body but Neck is just out of range.
Neck shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Neck tries to move into range but Bennett moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Bennett throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Neck pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Neck lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bennett circles away quickly and effectively.
Neck will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bennett scores with a one two! Neck had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Neck uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bennett .
Bennett slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Bennett shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Neck eats them both and turns towards Bennett to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Red Neck is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Neck moves in looking to clinch but Bennett pushes him off.

Bennett slaps away a takedown attempt from Neck, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Neck takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Neck throws a leg kick which misses Bennett 's front leg but catches the back leg as Bennett tries to avoid it.

Neck wants to clinch up but Bennett keeps it at a distance.
Bennett feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bennett tries to free his leg and advance position but Neck is retaining full guard.

Neck controls Bennett momentarily but Bennett frees himself.
Neck wants to sweep here but Bennett controlling him for the moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bennett got a little sloppy there for a moment and Neck has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bennett has managed to get both his arms back between Neck's legs - danger averted.

Bennett wants to free his trapped foot but Neck is holding on for dear life with his legs.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Neck. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Charles Bennett comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bennett has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Charles Bennett decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
