Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Dontas! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ranallo moves into the clinch successfully.
Ranallo unloads a knee to the mid-section. Dontas lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Dontas wants the takedown. Ranallo is fighting it off but Dontas persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ranallo's guard against the cage. Ranallo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ranallo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dontas has gone for a leg lock! Ranallo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dontas's guard. Dontas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ranallo is aware though and is defending well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ranallo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dontas is proving hard to escape from. Ranallo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dontas looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dontas throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ranallo escapes and throws Dontas's legs to the side, diving into side control! Dontas tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ranallo trying to control the position but Dontas is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dontas tries to improve position but can't. Ranallo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dontas keeps working. Dontas manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Dontas should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Dontas wants to improve his position but Ranallo is controlling well.
Dontas looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ranallo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. He's simply no match for Dontas on the ground.
