Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diego Sanchesz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deloris Bookake!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanchesz closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sanchesz throws a punch but it's blocked by Bookake.
Sanchesz tries a body shot but Bookake blocks it.
Bookake is working for takedown but Sanchesz is calmly controlling the position for now.
Sanchesz using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bookake has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Bookake blocking some punches.
Bookake drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sanchesz gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bookake has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sanchesz after a bit of a struggle.
Diego Sanchesz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Deloris Bookake.

Bookake goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sanchesz prevents it.
Sanchesz is looking to control Bookake's arms but Bookake gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sanchesz has his back to the cage.
Bookake wants to take the fight to the mat but Sanchesz manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Bookake drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sanchesz gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Sanchesz swings wildly with an uppercut but Bookake uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sanchesz tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Bookake has Sanchesz pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sanchesz manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Sanchesz gets underhooks to prevent Bookake's takedown attempt.
Sanchesz makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Bookake is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sanchesz is defending well.
Sanchesz throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bookakes head.

Sanchesz lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Bookake blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Bookake wants to take the fight to the mat but Sanchesz manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Sanchesz lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Sanchesz lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bookake backwards.
Sanchesz gets underhooks to prevent Bookake's takedown attempt.

Bookake lands a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bookake missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bookake trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sanchesz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bookake thows a big elbow that misses.
Bookake throwing strikes but missing.
Bookake controlling from the top position.
Bookake working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sanchesz's head.
Bookake landing some decent shots from guard.
Bookake scoring with some ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bookake postures up in Sanchesz's guard and throws a big left but Sanchesz blocks it.
Bookake slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Bookake content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Bookake distracts Sanchesz with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Sanchesz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bookake showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bookake lands a couple of decent looking shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Deloris Bookake dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Bookake looks for a takedown but Sanchesz sprawls well.

Bookake shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bookake was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bookake looking to finish Sanchesz with some ground and pound. This is bad for Sanchesz!
Bookake postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Sanchesz badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Bookake around the waist but Bookake pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Bookake is the winner by TKO! Bookake jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Deloris Bookake!
