Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tanom Jaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Belial Zaapiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Advanced Training! from the movie Kick Boxer!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zaapiel feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jaa's calf.
Jaa tries to score with a low kick but Zaapiel moves his leg out of the way.
Zaapiel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jaa counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Zaapiel has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Zaapiel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jaa manages to get himself to full guard.
Jaa controls Zaapiel momentarily but Zaapiel frees himself.

Zaapiel slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Jaa pulls Zaapiel in close to prevent any damage.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Jaa postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Zaapiel looks a forlorn figure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jaa breaks from Zaapiel's wrist control and lands an elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jaa uses his free foot to push down on Zaapiel's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Zaapiel.
