Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Xavyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yushi Sushi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Alexander Xavyer has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Alexander Xavyer seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sushi shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Xavyer napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Sushi stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Nice takedown defense from Sushi . No joy for Xavyer on that attempt.
Sushi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Xavyer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Xavyer shoots in for a takedown but Sushi shows good takedown defense.
Xavyer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sushi avoids it really well and circles away.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Yushi Sushi wasn't active enough on the ground.

Xavyer shoots in looking for a takedown. Sushi tries to sprawl out of it but Xavyer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sushi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Xavyer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sushi as he jumps to the side.
Sushi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Xavyer closes the distance and clinches.

Sushi jumps guard but Xavyer turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sushi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Xavyer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Xavyer is trying to maintain the position but Sushi is very close to passing his half guard.

Xavyer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sushi napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sushi gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Sushi pushes Xavyer off looking to stand but Xavyer dives back in and keeps control.
Xavyer is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sushi defends it well.

Xavyer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Yushi Sushi hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Xavyer manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's time! Xavyer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
