Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Townsend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Townsend's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Walk by Pantera. Jake Allen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kenneth Townsend! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Allen! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Townsend shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Allen as he jumps to the side. Townsend shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Allen as he avoids it easily. Townsend will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenneth Townsend. That's going to take a lot out of him. Townsend shoots in for a double leg but Allen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Townsend closes the distance and clinches up with Allen, looking for a takedown. Townsend pushes Allen against the cage but Allen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick misses from Townsend. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Townsend. Allen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Townsend.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Townsend fails with the takedown. Townsend looks for a takedown but Allen sprawls well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen stuffs the takedown. Townsend fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Allen moves out of range as Townsend strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Townsend misses with a takedown attempt - Allen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Townsend shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Allen pinned against the cage. Allen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Townsend fails miserably with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Allen dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Townsend scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Allen throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Allen is trying to get back to full guard. Allen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Townsend. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Allen punching from the bottom.
Townsend blocks the strikes from Allen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Allen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Allen gets full guard. Allen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Townsend manages to get himself to full guard.
Townsend had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Allen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Townsend Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Allen's back instead. Allen is trying to break free.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Townsend looking to break Allen's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Allen remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Townsend will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Allen can't escape the position.
Allen turns into Townsend and is now in his guard.
Allen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Allen is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Allen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Allen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Townsend looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Townsend is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Allen working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Townsend's head. Allen chips away with some ground and pound. Townsend looking to hit a scissor sweep but Allen is one step ahead there. Townsend has his foot on Allen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Allen works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Allen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Townsend to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Allen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Townsend pulls down on the head and he's put Allen to sleep! This one is all over!
