Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Junior Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Obed Kunirio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Junior Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Obed Kunirio! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kunirio throws a jab but it's blocked by Sanchez. Sanchez throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kunirio.
It looks like Obed Kunirio has been cut. Sanchez has Kunirio up against the ropes in a clinch.
Kunirio misses with a punch to the body.
A body shot lands from Kunirio.
Sanchez blocking some punches.
Kunirio slowing the pace effectively. Kunirio lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. This has been an exciting period of action! Kunirio fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kunirio is trying to break the clinch but Sanchez is controlling him. A head punch blocked on the inside by Sanchez. Sanchez breaks from the clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Kunirio dodges the punch combination from Sanchez.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez scores with a head kick. Kunirio tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Junior Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sanchez misses with a looping left. Sanchez tries to clinch but Kunirio moves away letting Kunirio counter with a right hand.
It looks like Junior Sanchez has been cut. The fight stays on the outside here - Sanchez looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kunirio bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sanchez's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kunirio takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sanchez tries to clinch but Kunirio moves away and Kunirio counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Sanchez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sanchez moves out of range as Kunirio strikes. Sanchez just misses with a punch to the body.
Kunirio misses with the combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kunirio throws a right hand that Sanchez ducks under and follows up with a left that Sanchez also avoids with ease. Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Kunirio paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kunirio looks to throw the jab but Sanchez is out of range. Kunirio misses with a wild combination.
Sanchez misses with a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sanchez tries to clinch up but Kunirio circles away and keeps his distance. Sanchez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kunirio, pushing him back against the ropes. Nice body punch from Kunirio. Sanchez wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Kunirio wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kunirio throws a head punch that misses. Sanchez with a knee to the head.
That has opened up Obed Kunirio's cut even more. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kunirio trying to control the position but instead, Sanchez has worked for underhooks and has pushed Kunirio into the ropes. Kunirio keeps control of Sanchez as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Junior Sanchez dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A decent looking cross lands there for Kunirio. Sanchez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kunirio manages to avoid it. Sanchez scores with a head kick. Kunirio tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Sanchez closes the distance looking to clinch and Kunirio counters with a crisp one two that drops Sanchez! Kunirio thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sanchez to his feet! Sanchez is in big trouble! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kunirio misses with a two punch combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kunirio misses with a straight right. Kunirio works the jab nicely. Kunirio misses with an uppercut
and Sanchez counters with a head kick. Sanchez tries to clinch up enabling Kunirio to counter with a crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice body kick from Sanchez. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sanchez moves away from the strike by Kunirio. Sanchez scores with a head kick.
The cut above Obed Kunirio's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Sanchez feints and then cracks Kunirio's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kunirio down. Kunirio is breathing heavily. Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Kunirio paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kunirio circles away from the clinch attempt and Kunirio cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kunirio's head.
Obed Kunirio's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Kunirio takes a swing at Sanchez's ribcage but misses. Sanchez gets a clinch. Kunirio tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sanchez's elbow. Kunirio struggles to land a body shot inside as Sanchez controls his hands.
Kunirio is looking to control Sanchez's arms but Sanchez gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kunirio has his back to the ropes. Sanchez is looking to break free of the clinch but Kunirio has double underhooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on Sanchez's face as he tries to break the clinch. Kunirio throws a head punch that misses. Sanchez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kunirio keeps the fight on the outside. Sanchez darts in trying to clinch and Kunirio counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kunirio circles away from the clinch attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Obed Kunirio will probably get the nod - 10:9. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Sanchez doesn't manage to clinch there - Kunirio circles away.
Sanchez lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Obed Kunirio's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
