Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bj Wizard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zach Obleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bj Wizard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bj Wizard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zach Obleman!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obleman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Obleman misses with a series of wild punches.
Obleman falls off balance throwing a combination

and Wizard counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Obleman wants to stand but Wizard is controlling the position.
Wizard looking to pass the guard.

Wizard is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Wizard pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Obleman is keeping the position for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Obleman can do anything to dispel that myth.
Obleman wants to stand up but Wizard is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wizard passes Obleman's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Wizard passes the guard and advances to mount!

Wizard has hold of Obleman's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Obleman manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Wizard is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Obleman has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Wizard is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Obleman can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Wizard is working for a guillotine from mount but Obleman frees his head quite easily.

Wizard has hold of Obleman's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Obleman manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Wizard wants to finish this one by submission but Obleman is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Wizard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Obleman wants to try and get back to his feet.

Wizard is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Obleman to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Obleman shrugs it off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Obleman is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Wizard with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Wizard is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Obleman is surviving well by controlling Wizard's body position as best he can.

Bj Wizard opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
