Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Great Dane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iqbal Al Mamood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dane's entrance music is The Animal - Disturbed. A fine choice. Al Mamood is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mamute Pequenino. Great Dane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Iqbal Al Mamood!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Mamood misses with a body shot.
Al Mamood throws a body punch but Dane moves out of range.
Al Mamood throws a jab when Dane was well out of range.
Iqbal Al Mamood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Al Mamood ducks under a wild hook from Dane.
Horrible takedown by Al Mamood or perhaps it was just good defense by Dane which made him look bad.
Dane avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dane on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Dane drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
No joy there for Al Mamood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Al Mamood lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dane circles away quickly and effectively.
Dane drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Al Mamood missing with a left hand there. Dane was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Dane ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Al Mamood shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Great Dane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iqbal Al Mamood.

Dane lands with a nice body punch.
Dane moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Al Mamood lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dane backs up against the cage.
Al Mamood looks gassed!
Al Mamood gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Al Mamood is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Dane displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Al Mamood throws out the jab.
Dane thows a body shot but no joy.
Dane jabs Al Mamood to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Dane comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dane misses the shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Al Mamood misses with a looping right.
The fighters circle momentarily. Dane darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Al Mamood is rocked!
Dane cracks Al Mamood with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Al Mamood falls to his knees and Dane doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Great Dane!
Great Dane decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
