Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roy Royler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamoru Takamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takamura tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Royler manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Royler jabs Takamura to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Royler takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Takamura has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Takamura there as he acknowledges the shot.

Takamura blocks a low kick nicely.
Royler throws a low kick but Takamura moves out of range easily.

Royler sends Takamura crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Royler is motioning to the referee to let Takamura up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Royler lands with an uppercut that bounces Takamura off the ropes and back into range.

Royler fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Takamura looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Takamura might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Royler has got the better of the exchanges.

Takamura throws a looping overhand right but Royler ducks down to avoid it.
