Victor is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Enigma - Hello and welcome. Adrian DeJesus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeJesus drives through with a takedown into guard.

DeJesus has his foot on Victor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Victor works his way back into a safe position though.

DeJesus had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Victor is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. DeJesus Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Victor's back instead.
Victor breaks DeJesus's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Victor seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Victor wants to pass the guard but DeJesus is keeping the position.
Victor decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

DeJesus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Victor tries to avoid it but DeJesus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Victor to the ground. Victor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
