Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Josh Wentworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Pequeno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wentworth comes to the cage accompanied by Spitfire by The Prodigy. Pequeno has chosen Cão da Morte by Mão Morta as his entrance music. Joao Pequeno will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Wentworth dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wentworth fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Pequeno checks it well.

Wentworth changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pequeno tries to avoid it but Wentworth manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pequeno to the ground. Pequeno escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pequeno lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wentworth has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wentworth and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
A decent looking cross lands there for Pequeno.

Pequeno rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wentworth moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Pequeno fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Wentworth to the ground. Pequeno is now in Wentworth's guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
