The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madison jabs at Gracie's body.
Madison scores with a body shot.
Gracie walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gracie doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into Madison's guard.
Madison has his foot on Gracie's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gracie works his way back into a safe position though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Madison pushes a forearm under Gracie's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Gracie is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
