Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hatsu Matsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Peach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hatsu Matsu has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hatsu Matsu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Peach! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peach throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Matsu's waist but Matsu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Peach off to one side. Peach shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Peach is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Matsu sees it coming and defends easily. Matsu is defending against the submission attempts here by Peach.
Peach is working for a kimura but Matsu is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Matsu is pressing down on Peach's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peach trying to stand up but can't free himself from Matsu's guard. Peach preventing the sweep. Matsu lands an upkick as Peach stands over him. Peach preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peach wants to pass the guard but Matsu is keeping the position. Matsu working a defensive guard here.

Peach takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Matsu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Peach swats him away and circles back towards the center. A lazy left from Matsu finds it's target. Matsu connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Peach looks to land a left hand but Matsu moved out of range nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peach misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Matsu lands a jab to Peach's midsection. Matsu cracks a nice hook into Peach's ribs. Peach looks gassed! Matsu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Peach stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Matsu showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Peach.
Matsu fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Peach on the side of the head. Peach shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Matsu but Matsu pushes him off and we're back to square one. Matsu lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Peach at a distance.
Peach has a takedown stuffed. Hatsu Matsu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Peach. Matsu stuns Peach with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Matsu works Peach's body with a nice hook. Peach tries to sprawl but Matsu drives through with a takedown into half guard. Peach has hold of Matsu's hands but Matsu slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matsu working Peach over with strikes. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Matsu connects with a nice short shot to Peach's temple. Matsu is trying to control. Peach wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Matsu content to control rather than advance. Matsu is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Matsu is nestled in close to Peach, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Matsu seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Matsu tries to pass the half guard into mount. Matsu looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Matsu works his foot free and advances to mount. Matsu is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Matsu raining down shots from the mount! Matsu lands a heavy elbow.
Peach is rocked! Peach is looking to improve his position but Matsu isn't that keen on the idea. Peach is still in real trouble! Can Matsu finish him? Peach is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Peach seems to have recovered his senses. Matsu will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Matsu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Matsu looking to finish Peach with some ground and pound. This is bad for Peach! Matsu is in the full mount, landing strikes. Peach takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Matsu's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hatsu Matsu! A relieved looking Hatsu Matsu thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
