Kerns comes to the cage accompanied by Johnny Cash - Hurt. Palmer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Not Now James,we're busy. This should be fireworks!

16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Palmer! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palmer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kerns sprawls well. Kerns wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Palmer gets slowly back to his feet. Jack Kerns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kerns dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Palmer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kerns but Kerns pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kerns throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kerns slaps away a takedown attempt from Palmer, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jack Kerns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Palmer. Kerns throws a shot from downtown. Palmer moves away and avoids it. Kerns has Palmer up against the cage in a clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kerns lands an elbow inside that Palmer shrugs off. Kerns lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Palmer backwards. Kerns prevents a body shot from Palmer. Palmer blocks a body shot from Kerns. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Palmer takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Kerns makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Palmer tries to stall but Kerns uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Palmer is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Roy Palmer. Kerns closes the distance but Palmer moves to the side and Palmer counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kerns! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Palmer moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kerns has worked his arm free - good work by Kerns!
Sloppy strikes there by Palmer. Palmer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. You can see the frustration on Kerns's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerns manages to get back to half guard. Palmer is keen to just control but Kerns is a slippery customer. Palmer wants to work for an arm triangle but Kerns is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kerns wants to improve his position but Palmer is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Palmer is pressing down on Kerns's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kerns is holding on for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palmer wants to work for an arm triangle but Kerns is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kerns won't allow Palmer to pass to mount. Kerns gets full guard. Jack Kerns is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Palmer stopping the sweep attempt from Kerns. Palmer looking to pass the guard. Kerns has control of Palmer's left arm, preventing Palmer from doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kerns keeping full guard, as Palmer tries to pass. Kerns bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Palmer's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kerns won't allow Palmer to sweep him here. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Palmer keeping moving, preventing Kerns from controlling successfully. Kerns is really struggling to control Palmer but he's trying to hold on to the position. Palmer wants to sweep but no luck. Kerns controlling from the top position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jack Kerns wasn't doing enough on the ground. Palmer shoots in and gets a takedown into Kerns's guard. Roy Palmer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kerns keeping moving, preventing Palmer from controlling successfully. Palmer with a flurry of punches that miss. Palmer pushes down on Kerns's leg and manages to get into half guard. Palmer not landing any meaningful shots this time. Palmer seems to be working for a kimura but Kerns defends the submission attempt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Palmer wants to free his trapped foot but Kerns is holding on for dear life with his legs.
And that's the end of the fight! Roy Palmer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kerns has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
