Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Mollestad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Manard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manard has chosen Go Hard Or Go Home as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Marcos Mollestad has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Marcos Mollestad seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcos Mollestad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gary Manard!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manard throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Manard tries for a takedown but Mollestad sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Manard keeps the fight on the outside.
Mollestad doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Manard blocks a head kick by Mollestad.
Manard throws a jab when Mollestad was well out of range.
Manard keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mollestad throws a series of punches but Manard avoids them all with ease.
Mollestad lands a leg kick that knocks Manard off balance momentarily.
Mollestad darts in trying to clinch
enabling Manard to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mollestad swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mollestad tries a head kick but it misses.
Manard slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Mollestad tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Manard counters with a flying knee that drops Mollestad!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mollestad working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Manard.
Manard forces his way into half guard.
Mollestad gets full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Manard's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Manard throws an elbow that misses. Mollestad uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Manard's guard. Nice move by Mollestad!
Mollestad postures up.
Manard is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Manard is looking to sinch up a triangle. Mollestad throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Manard's body to avoid the submission. Manard has instead reached around Mollestad's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Manard arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Gary Manard!
Gary Manard seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
