PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Piltz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piltz has chosen I'm too Sexy as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piltz throws a leg kick but Taylor sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Taylor will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jesse Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round but I would say that Jesse Taylor will probably get the nod.

and Taylor decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Piltz's guard.

Taylor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Taylor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mark Piltz has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Taylor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Piltz but Piltz pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Taylor feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jesse Taylor just wasn't active enough.
Piltz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Taylor, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
